Create Space To Feel Your Best favorite_border
Hi there,
Happy November!
Temperatures are changing and energies are shifting, both physically and energetically. For those in the Northern Hemisphere, things are getting colder and darker, with an invitation to retreat and rest until Spring. In the Southern Hemisphere, it’s quite the opposite with increased daylight, warmer weather, and increased energy.
With these changes upon us, it’s a good time to check in with yourself and where you are currently at. What habits and patterns from the previous season do you need to shift? Are you taking care of yourself in ways that feel good? If not, are there small actions you can start doing to move forward in a different direction?
Use this week’s practices to tune in and nurture every part of your being, inside and out. From taking an assessment of your sleep, stress, and nutrition, to making sure you are including space to feel joy, pleasure, and relaxation. Every moment given back to yourself now will only help to create abundance, freedom, and ease later on.
Happy practicing.

Your astrology forecast for November 1st-8th
Here's a brief overview of what this week has in store for you:
- Total lunar eclipse in Taurus on November 8th
- Mars has stationed retrograde
- Jupiter is now in Pisces
Continuing through eclipse season
Fresh off the heels of the solar eclipse in Scorpio last week, this is the week to move slowly, as it’s still eclipse season and the energy remains unpredictable. Be gentle with yourself as things come up, take extra care to find an outlet for any pent up emotions, and pause before reacting to any unexpected situations.
With the upcoming total lunar eclipse in Taurus on November 8th, you can expect your focus to be pulled towards strengthening your foundation, stabilizing your senses, and cultivating practices that make you feel strong and grounded in your body. Taurus is an Earth sign that likes to experience life through the senses. Ruled by the planet Venus, Taurus loves to luxuriate; think soft fabrics, lavish essential oils/candles/incense, decadent meals, a grounding ritual, or a sweaty workout to really let go.
The upcoming Taurus eclipse invites you to re-examine how present you are with your senses, how you treat your body, and how you tend to your spirit. Since eclipses tend to have an uncertain outcome, it's good to make a plan now on how you can include some joyful movement, and give yourself space to soak up all the wonderful smells, sights, tastes, sounds, and sensations around you. Indulge yourself wherever you can. Find an outlet that helps you to ground into your body, and regulate your system often with breathwork and meditation.
Mars and Jupiter
It’s also important to note that Mars has now stationed retrograde and will carry on this way for the next two months. This again emphasizes the need to slow down and make it a habit of checking in with yourself before taking big actions. Mars is the planet of action, confidence, and assertion, so you may find yourself feeling a bit more reactive than normal. Rather than react quickly (and possibly say or do something you might regret later on), channel any anger that comes up into more creative or movement-based outlets instead.
If you find yourself feeling particularly fired up, remember to give yourself moments to pause, step away, breathe, and return to the practices that help you feel grounded and nurtured. This gives you the time and space necessary to process and come to a solid response, rather than explode in reactivity.
Finally, to help balance out the fiery energy of Mars retrograde, we’re excited that the abundant planet Jupiter has officially re-entered the mystical sign of Pisces! Jupiter is the ruler of Pisces and feels most at home here; this combination spreads the energy of spiritual dreaminess, and with the sun still in Scorpio, you can expect a period of increased spiritual abundance and a deeper connection to your ancestors and guides as well.
As you go about your week, keep in mind that Jupiter is also the planet of abundance and generosity, so use this beautiful time to be charitable, compassionate, and particularly considerate of yourself and those around you.
