Follow Rachel in this short tutorial as she guides you through different variations of Sun Salutation B, or Surya Namaskar B, which is a great foundational sequence for when you want to build heat and feel more energized in a short amount of time. This sequence will also help you feel confident in Vinyasa and other styles of yoga as it makes up an integral part of the asana practice.

Begin with Mountain Pose (Tadasana), Chair Pose (Utkatasana), and Standing Forward Fold (Uttanasana), then proceed through the classic Vinyasa sequence of Plank Pose (Utthita Chaturanga Dandasana), Four Limbed Staff Pose (Chaturanga Dandasana), Upward Facing Dog (Urdhva Mukha Svanasana), and Downward Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana). Try Warrior I (Virabhadrasana I) on both sides and two more Vinyasa sequences before stepping forward and making your way back to Uttanasana, Utkatasana, and finally Tadasana. Continue by exploring more challenging options, as well as gentler expressions of these poses so you can adjust this sequence's difficulty at anytime to suit your needs and make your practice feel good no matter the day!
