Solar Hip Flow

Join Bee in this energizing sequence designed to invigorate the hips and entire body while calming the mind. Gently begin by arriving on your mat just the way you are, letting go of expectations, and learning to be at home in your body and your practice. Slowly begin to move through Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar), powerful standing sequences, and hip opening postures to exercise not only the body, but also to repeatedly work the mind by choosing to detach from the physical outcomes of each pose. Learn to just enjoy your asana practice as it is. Bee incorporates compassion and intention with the physical practice so that you can move through attachments and release expectations while continuing to activate and strengthen the hips, glutes, and core. Continue moving with options for fun arm balances and Supported Headstand Pose (Salamba Sirsasana) before relaxing into a deep Savasana and giving your mind, body and spirit the chance to thoroughly reset and release.

For this class, you will need two blocks (or homemade substitutes). A blanket is optional for extra seat or knee support.
