In this class, you will learn all about getting out of your comfort zone and into the arm-balancing Eka Pada Galavasana (Flying Pigeon Pose)! As a student of yoga, it is your job to move away from the safety of what you know and into transformational experiences, so attempting or getting into this arm balance can be quite transformative in a variety of ways!
Start with a grounding meditation to settle in, moving from the external world into your internal world, then begin to move through some foundational poses and sequences designed to help get into the Flying Pigeon shape. By the end of class, you will feel light in heart, strong in body, connected in spirit, and ready for anything!
For this practice, you will need two blocks and maybe a strap.
