Release Tension and Let Go

This is a beautiful twisting flow designed to rinse and release the body from tension and fatigue.

Start by settling your mind and your thoughts in a short, seated meditation, remembering that you are the hero of your own practice. Meditate on the concept that you are only responsible for your own thoughts, your own practice, letting go of expectations and what others may think or feel as a result of your actions. Begin to warm up the body with a shoulder opening flow, and then softly activate the legs and open the hips. Move into an energizing, standing sequence, then start to switch on the core muscles and progress into shoulder-opening and back-bending asanas. Come back down to the mat for a gentle hip-opening flow and finish with a deeply restful Savasana.
