Returning to Love

Connect to the body, your temple, and move into a space of self-love and self-acceptance with Rachel for "extra space" and Day 33 of the 30 Days of Space Yoga Girl® community challenge. Settle in slowly, breathe gently, and softly release in this restorative practice.

Begin with a heart-centered guided meditation and the inspiration of the day's oracle card, then move onto the mat for some deeply nourishing and settling gentle movement. Lie down and get comfortable, allowing yourself to melt into the earth and settle the mind. Transition to supported Child's Pose (Balasana), twists, and forward folds, all while giving yourself space to rest and be supported. Lastly, find deep hip opening in a supported Frog Pose (Mandukasana) before eventually making your way to a special modified Savasana.

For this restorative practice, you will need to have a bolster and two blocks (or homemade substitutes). Additionally, a blanket or two and a pillow are optional for extra support. The more props the merrier!
