In this gentle class, you will relieve tightness and deepen your awareness of the hips. Discover how the hips can be a doorway to releasing stored or stuck emotions as you work on opening up the hip flexors and hip joints, and moving away from anything that may be holding you back. Allow your curiosity to move both within your personal and universal landscape, then use that knowledge to elevate your wisdom, get deep into the hips, create some space, and release.

Begin in a supported Hero Pose (Virasana) and take some time to tune into the power of your victorious breath as well as the present moment. Gently begin to warm up the body and move through a seated hip opening flow specifically designed to get into every part of the hips. Explore variations of Cow Face Pose (Gomukhasana), Frog Pose (Mandukasana), Double Pigeon/Firelog Pose (Agnistambhasana), and supported Half Pigeon Pose (Ardha Kapotasana) as you continue to explore how each shape feels for you and making adjustments as needed along the way. Finish with a deeply healing Savasana, then notice the fluidity of your hips after stepping off the mat!
