This class was created with the intention to nurture and heal the body, mind and spirit after experiencing a devastating and traumatic loss. This class focuses primarily on the Heart Chakra, Anahata, which is the chakra most intensely affected by grief. It offers Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditations centered around relieving issues related to this chakra such as: tension/pain in and around the heart, slumped posture, tight shoulders and chest, difficulty breathing, sadness, anger and depression. The class ends with optional journaling and compassionate sharing (this is a great practice to share with your loved ones or support group).
