Don't Worry So Much
favorite_border

Swap worry for intention and positive self-talk, both in the yoga class and in life, with Jen in this Vinyasa flow class. Practice opens with a beautiful, thoughtful quote by Wayne Dyer, then you will begin to stretch and move slowly with the intention of bringing peace into your body. Allow your worries to fade as the breath becomes your focus.

Move into invigorating and intentional Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar) with mindful reminders from Jen throughout that will help you keep the worries at bay and the positive mantras flowing. Mid-class begin to work through a variety of arm and standing balance sequences; Warrior III (Virabandrasana III), Flying Pigeon (Eka Pada Galavasana), Standing L/Splits (Urdhva Prasarita Eka Padasana), Extended Hand-to-Big-Toe Pose (Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana), Side Plank (Vasisthasana), and Crow Pose (Bakasana), all to fire up both your legs and your smile! Enjoy core work, hip openers, and restorative backbends in this fun practice. Slow down, recharge, and be present – you deserve it!

For this class, a strap, two blocks, and a blanket are optional for additional length and support.

Poem that Jen references in class is called Wild Geese by Mary Oliver.
