Start by chanting a potent prayer ‘Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu’ which translates from Sanskrit to, ‘May all beings everywhere be happy and free, may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all’, this mantra will help you to become a conduit for change. Gently begin to wake up the body, open the shoulders, and move through a strengthening, hip opening, twisting flow. Get into a lateral, side-body opening sequence, then descend down onto the mat for some core work. Finish with a lengthening, back body opening, shoulderstand variation, before coming to rest in a deep, prayerful, healing Savasana.
