[01:25] Welcome to Yoga Girl Daily, happy Tuesday, and welcome to our Tune-In Tuesday practice of this week. So, a time for us to contemplate a topic, use it as a journaling prompt, so make sure you sit down with your journal on your own later today. And if you feel inspired, find a friend or a family member to share with as well.
[01:52] For our topic today, I have something that excites me, something that I feel like many of us don't do enough. I know I don't do it enough. I should be doing it more often. It is so important that in every area of our lives, that we pause to acknowledge the progress that we've made, that we pause to celebrate milestones. That we take a moment to actually honor the work and the progress that we have seen in every area of our lives. And what I want to focus on today is the inner work that we have all been doing over these past couple of months and years and lifetimes. So many of us have been and still are on a wild healing journey right now where we have experienced so many new things. We've learned how to deal with things in a different way. You might have come to terms with past wounds or traumas or baggages in your life.
[02:45] Maybe you have made some actual major changes and shifts in your life this year. And I want to take today to actually contemplate on all the changes that we have made in our lives that are for the better. Maybe it's changes that you have made inside of yourself in terms of how you wake up and how you go through your day, every single day. Maybe it's something that's changed in terms of your dynamic in relationships. Perhaps for the first time in your life you have set some boundaries and let some relationships go. Maybe you have been able to invite a new kind of relationship into your life. Perhaps your relationship with yourself has changed for the better. So taking a moment right here right now, if you want, you can close your eyes and just place your hand to your heart for a moment.
[03:30] What growth have you seen inside of yourself lately? Take a moment right now to really contemplate that. What growth have you seen inside of yourself? What changes for the better have you been able to make in your life? If you can remember yourself about a year from this moment, what was your life like then? And just how much has changed now? Take a moment to sit with that. All these many challenging things that have come our way this year, for so many of us, it's led to big, big, big changes. And I know you are at home right now, working hard every day on this journey, working to heal everything that needs healing inside of you, sitting with discomfort, being disciplined with your self-care practices. I know you are on this intense journey with me. I'm on it too, and I want today to be an opportunity for us to honor the changes we have already made, because sometimes the mind is very quick to tell us that actually we haven't changed anything at all, that actually we haven't grown.
[04:38] And maybe you've found yourself back in a similar pattern that you were trying to get rid of months ago. And you know, this is a part of life. Everything is cyclical and the mind is very quick to tell us that the growth that we thought was there wasn't real, and that's just not true. And if you close your eyes and you feel into your heart and into your body right now, do you feel that little spark inside of you? Maybe the hint of a smile on your face? You know the work that you have done this year. You know the work that you are doing right now. You know just how far you've come, just how many milestones you actually have to celebrate, how many positive changes you have created through effort, through healing, through self-care in your life. Sit with that for a moment. Inside of yourself right now, celebrate the work that you have done for a moment. Because when we zoom out a little bit, when we step away and we look at the progress that we've made objectively, you've taken giant steps toward healing. And the work that you've done inside of yourself is huge. Let's take a full breath into that place inside. And exhale, let it out.
[05:57] You can blink your eyes open. I would love for you to right away, use this as a journaling prompt so that you can actually give yourself time, maybe even bullet point list or give yourself at least 20 minutes to sit down and journal on the growth that you have seen inside of yourself. The positive changes that you have already made, the healing that you have already experienced. Honor this, celebrate it, celebrate yourself and the work that you're doing every single day.
