[00:35] Welcome to Yoga Girl Daily and happy Monday, you guys! It's Make It Happen Monday today and I have a really fun and awesome intention for us all to set this week. It is the second week of the New Year, so we're kind of getting into the, slowly getting into the, flow of regular day to day life and something that I find really important, especially if you've spent a lot of time setting clear intentions for this year, hopefully you have some things you want to create, some goals you want to meet, something you want to find yourself really moving toward this year.
[01:16] So something that's really important when it comes to that, is taking those intentions that you've set and turning them into actionable goals. So not just continuing to remind yourself of the intentions that you've set and continuing to anchor into them every week, but making them into actionable goals. So actual steps you can take that will bring you closer to that thing you want to achieve. So that's what this week is all about for me personally. It really is my first week kind of back working normally, you know, holidays are officially over now. We are getting into this year and all those things that you've put down on paper, all those things you've spoken about, the things you've meditated on, contemplated, inquired within yourself. It's time to put those things into action. So our intention is: This week I will turn my intentions into actionable goals. This week I will turn my intentions into actionable goals.
[02:14] So a really good way to go about this is to start with that number one thing that really pops out to you as something that you feel like you actually can create this year. So don't go for the goal that feels most unattainable, but go for the one that pops out as like, okay, this is hard, but I feel like I know a little bit around how to make it there or at least how to begin taking that first step toward the journey that will take you to that goal. So whether that's something around your career or your work life or if it's a goal that you have around your health and your body, how you want to feel inside. Maybe it's something related to your home, to your family, your kids, your spouse, whatever this goal is or the intention that you have.
[02:53] Sitting down, taking a moment to write it out. I like to use really big sheets of paper, kind of like a mind map or if you're making a vision board of some kind, just so you can get a little more creative around, how can I take a moment to drop in and make this goal achievable? It means you're going to have to break it down into several actionable steps so that you can find something that you can actually do today that's going to bring you closer toward that goal. So say this goal is you have an amazing idea that you want to turn into an actual business. Okay? Wow. There's a hundred little steps that you could be taking right now that will bring you closer toward realizing that goal. Perhaps you need to brainstorm a business name. Maybe you need to sit down and look at what kind of connections you already have in your life.
[03:36] People you can reach out to to ask for advice or to network a little bit. Maybe you need to create a new website. You're going to lock that domain in. Perhaps you have to write up a big business plan. Maybe look at your finances. Maybe before you can take those steps. If you have any kind of debt or something that you have to clear up financially, maybe that's where you have to start. It's just putting everything down, all the variables you can think of on a big, big, big sheet of paper so that you can start to narrow down, okay, I have this big intention over here. I'm going to turn that intention into a goal this week and I'm going to make sure I have actionable steps to follow and then it's pretty easy. It's going to be up to you how many of these steps you are going to take action around every day, every week, every month.
[04:19] Of course, the harder you work at them, the more of those you can check off as done, the faster you'll be realizing this dream, and I think there is no such thing as a dream that's too big. So whatever it feels like, man, my heart is really telling me that this is something I want to create this year. Start there and know that you have the ability to make this happen. You actually do. It's dropping into that beautiful balance between meditating on why we want to get there, feeling into our hearts so we have pure intentions. We feel that urge, that passion inside of, man, I'm put here on this earth to create something and then pairing that inner work with the actionable work of actually putting in the sweat that's needed to make this happen every damn day. I believe in you. I hope you believe in yourself, too. This week is a perfect week to get really clear on all of those things so that you can feel yourself inching closer towards your goal.
