[00:31] Welcome to Yoga Girl Daily, happy Friday and welcome to what is a pretty challenging Feel-Good Friday today, I feel. When we are not moving through these challenging times in the world, when we're not in the middle of a pandemic, of course it's easier to focus on self-care. It's easier to have that Feel-Good Friday and focus on feeling good all through the weekend. It feels almost a little bit silly to share that in that way. You know, Feel-Good Friday when so many people are struggling in the world right now. But at the same time, practicing self-care is more important these days than it is when everything is going pretty well. Now more than ever, it's just crucial that you take care of yourself.

[01:22] Today's self-care practice is all about your health. Of course, we cannot underestimate the importance of taking care of our health right now throughout these times. So I want to have today really be that specially dedicated focused day to taking care of your health and maybe making some changes in your daily lifestyle right now, if you must, or if you haven't already. So how can you spend some time today to make any changes or decide on any changes you want to make to stay as healthy as you possibly can. And we all know we have something that probably we could be improving. Maybe right now you need to take some extra supplements or herbs or vitamins of some sort, just to really boost your immune system right now. Maybe what you need to do is drink more water. I know that's something that I need a little bit of help through every single day.

[02:13] I keep these giant Mason jars filled with water kind of littered around the house. So as I move around the house, I have a big one on the dining room table. I have one in the kitchen, one in my bedroom. So I always have that constant reminder to drink water all through the day. Super important right now. Maybe what you need to do is move your body a little bit more. We all know that exercise is a huge, huge component to staying healthy and keeping your immune system strong. Something else that we shouldn't underestimate as well is time spent outside. So if you're not in quarantine right now, if you're not isolated and you have space to go outside, spend some time in nature without having to socialize with other people. Do it, yeah? Breathe fresh air. Feel your feet on the ground. Look up at the sky, feel the sun on your face if the sun is shining where you're at. Be outside if you can.

[03:01] And just having that routine every day, especially if you're isolated, which I think and kind of hope that we all are right now, that you start every morning doing that or completing that routine that you know keeps you really healthy. So for me and my family, we drink a big thing of lemon water first thing in the morning, or my husband and I, Lea Luna, I give her a smoothie, she doesn't really like lemon water and then we take our vitamins every day. We have multivitamins that we take, we're taking extra vitamin C right now, I'm taking some extra selenium and some magnesium and things that I know I tend to lack a little bit, some iron as well. What are some things that you could take or do every morning that you know is just that routine that you're boosting your system right now? Perhaps extra fruits and veggies if you have that available.

[03:45] Maybe staying away from the sugary stuff and the alcohol right now just so you can stay absolutely on top of your health and we should all do so, not with that fear in mind. Not that we have to be scared of getting sick. Just knowing right now that the best thing we can do to stay away from the spires is to keep our immune system as good as it can get. So something you can do for your health and then committing to that for a couple of weeks ahead. Man, I think we should all really stay very health-minded and health focused right now. In a way that makes sense for us, that doesn't make us feel overwhelmed. So Feel-Good Friday, that's our practice of the day, the practice of the week is to stay on top of our health. Of course, if you are feeling under the weather, take the measures that your local authorities have told you to take. Take it seriously. Take care of yourself. By taking care of ourselves, we are automatically taking care of each other, so stay healthy everyone. I hope you have a good weekend. I really, really, really hope you do. I love you so much.
