[01:00] Welcome to Yoga Girl Daily and happy Monday, you guys! Today, it's not just Make It Happen Monday, but it's actually the second to last day of the year. Not only that, it's also the second to last day of this entire decade. We have a really powerful week ahead of us. Of course, we have New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, big celebrations, but in terms of spirituality and in terms of the very sacred practice of deciding where we're going next, you are facing a very important day today and tomorrow. I am a huge believer of setting really epic New Year's intentions and making those intentions clear, concise, and something that we can actually work with all throughout the new year.

[01:55] So today for Make It Happen Monday, I don't have an intention in mind because tomorrow we'll be setting a huge intention on New Year's Eve, on the 31st, but instead today I have an affirmation for us to work with that will help us get really clear on getting those intentions to come forth. So, the affirmation we'll be working with the today is this: I know where I'm going, and I am clear about my intentions for the new year. I know where I'm going, and I'm clear about my intentions for the new year. Just speaking that out loud gives me an immediate sense of clarity and empowerment. I know where I'm going, and I'm clear about my intentions for the new year. Affirming this to yourself today and also tomorrow as you start to sit down and hopefully move into some sort of ritual or ceremony around getting your new year's intention super, super clear. And as you speak this affirmation out loud or say it to yourself, if you feel any sort of hesitation or confusion that perhaps actually you haven't known where you've been going this year, maybe 2019 was a really confusing and kind of all over the place year for you, then it's really a nudge right now for you to sit down, dedicate the time and the energy, even if it's just 20 minutes, half an hour, give yourself a little bit of space to meditate on what you think your intentions should be for the coming year. I love to work with a year pass, so looking over 2019 to find some of the biggest lessons, the biggest learnings, takeaways, challenges, and use that to make sure I get to an intention for 2020 that really rings true in my heart. This affirmation is a really great way to help us a little bit along the way.

[03:41] I know where I'm going, and I'm clear about my intentions for the new year. Really great way to get even clearer, of course, is to journal around this, to repeat this affirmation to yourself throughout the day, and of course give yourself that time to sit down in silence and feel into what are your intentions going to be. Tomorrow I'll be sharing with you a practice to really anchor you into your intentions for 2020 and I'll share a really awesome ritual that you can do right around midnight, right on New Year's Eve, so you can speak that intention out loud into the universe for all to hear, but for today, anchor into this affirmations to get a little closer to what those intentions actually are going to be.
