Yoga Girl® Scholarship
At Yoga Girl®, we believe in inclusivity, access to healing tools for all, and building a world where every person can achieve what they choose to pursue without exclusion due to systemic privilege. In our community, this work and responsibility lies with us. Through the Yoga Girl® scholarship program, we aim to consistently and adaptively work to fill in the gaps that exist in our society.
The Yoga Girl® Scholarship Program
We have established the Yoga Girl® Scholarship because when we say we want everyone to be a Yoga Girl®, we truly mean it. We want to be part of building a world where every person can achieve what they choose, without exclusion due to systemic disadvantage. We've created our scholarship program so that anyone who holds a marginalized identity and struggles with low income can still receive the same level of healing and nurturing guidance that is typically offered to those that hold more economic, social, and racial privilege.
We know it takes all of us to make an impact through yoga and not all of us have equal access. To combat interlocking systems of colonization and oppression at this time, we are offering a variety of scholarships for our different online programs, partner programs, and memberships to our Yoga Girl® platform.
As a small, women-owned business, it is our intention to bring dignity, love, and humanity into your experience on our platform and beyond. In keeping with our values of our commitment to equity and justice we are committed to building and growing our scholarship fund. We acknowledge that this is a partial step in the movement towards creating equity and not a complete solution.
The Power of Practice
Access to yoga classes and other wellness and healing avenues is disproportionately available to the white community. With this knowledge and with a yoga platform of our own, it is our responsibility to ensure that BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities, as well as other marginalized groups, are represented and have equal access to our offerings.
If you are a member of the BIPOC communities, we invite you to submit an application by clicking "Apply here" below. If you have any questions or wish to speak to our team directly, we can be reached at info@yogagirl.com.
Before applying below, please read and agree to the Yoga Girl® Terms and Conditions/Waiver and Release and Privacy Policy.

We are so excited to announce that Yoga Girl® and Debra Silverman Astrology have teamed up and are also able to gift a limited amount of complete, fully-paid tuition scholarships for Debra Silverman’s Level 1 Applied Astrology course, which you can learn more about here!
This course is offered twice a year and runs for 6 weeks. In it, you will learn not only about the language of astrology and the basics of reading your natal birth chart, but you'll also discover more about yourself on a deep, intimate, and compassionate level.
In-Person Retreats and Yoga Teacher Trainings
We are particularly interested in welcoming people from the BI&POC communities and other marginalized groups to our in-person retreats and yoga teacher trainings. We do this because we know that this work is powerful and access to these programs can further empower those who haven’t previously had access. We are able to offer a limited number of scholarships every year for all retreats and teacher trainings we host.
Please note, due to the current world climate and COVID-19, we are not offering any in-person retreats or teacher trainings at this time. Please follow us and Rachel on social media, and subscribe to our newsletter for special announcements.
