Power Hour
favorite_border

This class is exactly what it sounds like, an hour of powering through a profound, potent practice! Remember you can always take a break, come into Child’s Pose and rejoin the class when you are ready. This is a dynamic, sweaty practice geared to get your blood pumping, but first take time to drop into your breath and the present moment with the ultra-grounding Supta Baddha Konasana (Reclined Bound Angle Pose). Allow yourself to listen to whatever your heart is telling you, allow any discomfort to come up, and then see if you can breathe through it.

Once you've anchored into the breath, you'll begin with a supine flow to create space in the legs, hips, hamstrings, and spine. Continue by moving through powerful Sun Salutations incorporating core work and balancing variations. Flow through strengthening standing sequences, a powerful Navasana (Boat Pose) cycle, balancing poses, and play with handstand hops before settling into a restful Malasana squat and deep, supported forward folds. Take some time in Savasana to reconnect with the heart and notice any shifts you might have experienced throughout this powerful practice with gratitude.
