Join Liz as she breaks down the Grasshopper Pose (Parsva Bhuja Dandasana) arm balance, and shows you how to prepare and confidently move into this challenging pose step-by-step! Begin preparing the hips and side body for this fun arm balance by coming into Pigeon Pose and variations of seated twists, then warm up the hip flexors with Utkatasana (Chair Pose) and Parivrtta Utkatasana (Revolved Chair Pose). Lower down closer the the floor for Side Crow Pose, then come to a wall to further fire up the hips and legs in preparation for the arm balance to come. Finally, put all the preparatory poses together to move into Grasshopper Pose, while being sure to smile and have with each attempt!
