Burn Through Impurities
favorite_border

Join Bee as she guides you through a powerful practice inspired by the lessons of Shiva. Shiva is known as the destroyer, and sometimes destruction is necessary in order to make space for what will truly serve you. Shiva is also connected to the third eye, which is the driving force behind intuition, so this practice will help you to intuitively listen to your body, where you need to cultivate space, and how to integrate your movements and intentions with the messages received from within in order to reach a natural state of bliss.

Begin this practice in a seated posture, working with the mantra of Shiva to help activate the third eye (the sixth chakra), call in the energy of Shiva, and set an intention from the heart. You will then move through a gentle full body flow that will challenge you to move more mindfully than ever before, opening the hips, hamstrings, spine, and shoulders throughout while creating a feeling of purification in the body. Reach for your Shiva Natarajasana (Dancer’s Pose), use your drishti (focused gaze) to keep you focused, and burn through any impurities no longer serving you so that you can reach your highest potential.

For this practice, you will need a strap and two blocks (or homemade substitutes).
