[00:32] Welcome to Yoga Girl Daily and happy Monday! I hope you are having a good day wherever you are, or as good as could possibly be during this time. Mondays at Yoga Girl Daily, of course, we set an intention for the week every single Monday. It's a brand new week and even though we are not heading off to work or moving around out and about the way we normally would, it's a really good thing to do, to set an intention at the beginning of each week. Bringing a little bit more purpose into our day and as well as having that sense of energy or something that we intend to create that can anchor us every single day. This week, I want us to bring some light into the dark. This week, I want us to focus on the things that we have present in our lives that are still beautiful, finding ways every day to remember that there is so much good in the world, to literally take the time to count our blessings and to look for a silver lining where ever we can find one.
[01:43] Our intention for this week is this: This week I will look for light everywhere I go. This week I will look for light everywhere I go. So how can you find ways this week to remind yourself of the beauty of this world every single day, especially on days that are challenging, on days where everything feels like it's so dark. We have all experienced so much loss on so many different levels over the past few weeks. So having this intention to look for light every day can really help turn some of that energy around. Now, this does not mean that we are minimizing our pain or our struggles or that we're sticking our heads in the sand pretending like life isn't hard right now, no. What it means is we will try to look for that silver lining. What is something you can do every day, this week that you know brings you a little bit more light?
[02:41] What does that practice that you know makes you feel grounded and happy? Something that you do with your family, perhaps maybe something that you do alone, a little habit, a routine you can anchor into that makes it easier for you to see some light in the dark. This week, see if you can wake up every morning and remind yourself of this intention that this week I will look for light everywhere I go. And the beauty of that is when we start to really bring our awareness to the light, when we look for the light, when we start to really look for the blessings that we have and we can bring about a sense of gratitude into our day, it will feel like that moment of light or those things that bring us light are going to be magnified. Where our attention goes, energy flows. And it's so very easy to focus only on the dark right now.
[03:31] I want this energy to serve you and serve you in your highest good by reminding you of the fact that there is light present everywhere. We just have to get quiet and present enough to find it. This week I will look for light everywhere I go. So collective intention for all of us to look for that silver lining, to do things that bring about some sense of wellbeing every day, to ask for help if we need it. To lean on people, to send gratitude out into the world, to really acknowledge the blessings that we still have present in our lives. You are a big light in my life so I want to end today's episode by just saying thank you. I see you.
